Last night I got to work on the house. I Old English’ed the bathroom cabinets and boy, do they look great! I went to put the handles on and found out the holes are off, which is very odd. I’m taking them back to Lowes to see if I can find the right “size” otherwise J will just have to fix it. The old handles are pretty much crap.
I’m thinking of bathing Brig tomorrow night to get him ready for his journey up north on Saturday. I’ve really tried to keep a distance from him, for emotional reasons, but I know I will regret not spending a little more time with him before he goes.
It doesn’t help that I’m PMSing right now. But, I’m keeping busy with house stuff and work in insane right now. I went to Powell’s at lunch and bought some books so I’m immersed in that, too. Plus, the kids are with us now so that keeps me quite busy. It’s nice having them around. I write out to-do lists for them the night before and, ta-da, I come home to a clean house and brushed, fed and pottied dogs!
Besides being 48 hours from horseless, life is good.
